Boa Vista

Bigger and more authentic than Sal, Boa Vista seduces visitors with its immense dunes and arid landscapes, that are surrounded by a formidable turquoise sea. Also known as the 'Sahara of the Atlantic', this island measures 31km by 29km and has no less than 55km of golden beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see and are often deserted. Inland, rocky stretches of sandy plains and lush oases make for fascinating adventures.
